About
Born and raised on the North Shore of Massachusetts, Casey Lynn Roland grew up roaming all over New England, taking in its people, places, seasons, its ebbs and its flows, and weaving them into the fabric of her stories, poems, and artwork. She is, at heart, a storyteller, who spends her time making as much as she can whenever she can. Casey is also the creator of design BY land, an amalgamation of her creations, where you can find her craftworks made from cloth, bleach, and other notions.
Casey holds a BA, MA, and MAT from Salem State University as well as an MFA from the University of New Hampshire. Her work has previously appeared in The Bookends Review, Red Ogre, Rougarou Journal, West Trade Review, and Soundings East among others. She still lives in the town she grew up in, with one parakeet, two dogs, and several very particular house plants.
